The Osceola Community Fair will be kicking off its annual events on Friday, Sept.8th. The 93rd annual Osceola Community Fair will be underway with FREE admission. Registration for fair exhibits will be taking place at 12:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday Sept. 8th in the Fair Building. The Truck Pull will be commencing at 7 p.m. on the clay track. The midway will also be opening with Stipe’s Shows amusement rides at 5 p.m. with a wristband special from 6 to 10 p.m. for $20.
Taking center-stage on the Fair’s stage located in the Food Court will be a wide variety of music to include Classic to Current Rock; Bruce Dick and The Fever Band will be performing at 7:30pm until 11:30pm.
Saturday, September 9th the FFA Tractor Pull gets underway at 11 a.m. SHARP, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Fantasy Critter Petting Zoo will be at the south end of the fair building beginning at 11:30 a.m., with pony rides for $4 beginning at 12:30 p.m.. Happy Face Entertainment Co. will be set-up by the Petting Zoo from 2:30 to 4:45 p.m – Free Admission. Stipe’s Shows Midway opens at noon, offering a Saturday wristband special for $20 from 12:00—4:00 p.m.
Performing live on the Main Stage in the food court at 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. will be Savanna Hall a solo performer that is a local. This afternoon of easy-listening entertainment is to be enjoyed by all fair goers.
An exciting performance will be taking center-stage on the Main Stage at the Food Court for Saturday, Sept. 9th, at 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. for fair goers entertainment. Back by popular demand “Paisan”, this 6 piece group strives to give their fans popular songs rarely heard by the average cover band. Come to the Fair and have some food, drinks and be entertained by these talented musicians. Since their inception in 2012, Paisan has played countless shows across Northwest Wisconsin and Minnesota, building a loyal fan base and winning over new fans with every performance.
Sunday September 10th the Grand Parade begins at 1:00pm. The parade route is down Cascade Street/WI 35 beginning at First Avenue to 10th Avenue, ending at 10th Avenue and the Osceola Elementary School. PLEASE BE AWARE OF ROAD AND STREET CLOSURES DURING THIS TIME FOR ACCESS TO CERTAIN AREAS OF THE TOWN Check points are set up to assist our visitors as streets/highway access are blocked-off during this great community traditional event. Following our Grand Parade, the Pedal Tractor Pull will be taking place at the Oakey Park/Fairgrounds Grandstand area.
Royalty Coronation will be at the Fairgrounds Grandstand at 5 p.m., this will include both Miss Osceola and Little Miss Coronations. With Prizes and Awards concluding our festivities beginning at 6 p.m.
